The second item in my BNT vanity trove is something I personally thought is rather unique & interesting - WHITE CAT Super Berry Silky Eye Balm.

White Cat is almost unheard of in Singapore yet, but I am quite thrilled to try out this new brand (to me). Pretty sure you can guess why I am excited? Just LOOK at the super adorbs hot pink kitty packaging! Anything PINK gets a girl's heart yeah!

Full Ingredients:

An eye area beauty product that consists of 12 berry ingredients: Chinese matrimony vines, raspberries, amqui berries, korean black raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, acai berries, bilberries, black currant, cranberries,blueberries, and raspberry vine. Berries are known to be antioxidants-rich,  hence they produce good anti-wrinkle and anti-aging properties.

Product claims to effectively improve wrinkles, dark circles and prevents aging.

HOW TO USE?

• As a eye makeup primer 
• Apply around the eyes just like any eye cream
• Can be used before or after makeup
  

PRODUCT SWATCH

I dug out a significant amount of product for swatching purposes. Therefore, it looks opaque and thick in the above pic. In reality, the correct way to use is to lightly swirl your ring finger into tub and pick up just a thin layer on the finger, then pat gently around eyes. 

End result: transparent, unnoticeable film that blurs out fine lines like a MeiTuXiuXiu filter.

MY THOUGHTS

As a regular user of eye makeup primer, my favourite go-to is the popular Urban Decay one. Unfortunately, most eye primers do not comprise of skincare benefits, so this White Cat Super Berry Silky Eye Balm can be a refreshing invention (if it works as its claims!).

In all honesty, I haven't trial it long enough to testify for any skin improvements on my undereye area. However, the good news is that the product does help to fill out my fine lines, thus creating a smoother finish to my eye makeup. It feels lightweight, non-greasy (although it can get kinda waxy if you over-dose on it) and lasts the entire day without sliding around.

NOTE: Please use this before concealer or foundation, NOT AFTER. Applying after messes up your eye makeup.
