You'd have heard of this unicorn-dreams-come-true whimsical rainbow highlighting palette by Kat Von D last year. It took the internet by storm. (I also filmed it on my Instagram.)
My fellow Singaporean beauty fanatics have been waiting for it to be available for sale in Sephora Singapore... Well, I don't know when and if they are going to bring this into Singapore, but still, would love to share some swatches and looks just in case they do. (My guess is they would, eventually.)

Kat Von D Alchemist Holographic Palette is housed in a quirky triangle-shaped (reminds me of Illuminati instantly actually. Hahaha!) iridescent white paper cardboard case. Not the most luxurious packaging but very unique & one of its kind. Never seen before elsewhere.
For more product information (which I have no intention of boring you with), read here on the official Sephora website.
If there is no lighting, the reflection of this stunning powders will be less obvious but still highly visible. Under strong lighting, this is one attention-grabber whether it's on your skin or in the pan...all thanks to the the special formulation of 360° refractive pearls, dipped in a prismatic coating.
How does these four shades fare on Asian skin? Let's see...
Normal bright daylight
Under artificial lighting
See how pigmented and out-of-the-world all four shades are?
You can imagine wearing them on your face, lids and even on the lips! They are going to stun whoever you meet!
I purposely put on a more "Western", stronger kind of makeup look to go with this Kat Von D Alchemist Holographic Palette. I think even my usual Korean MOTD will mix well with these shades too, just that I have to apply with a lighter hand.
