Etude House Pudding Tints Review

Singapore Top Beauty Blogger 2015

Recently, Etude House held a girly Christmas party to celebrate the launch of their new holiday collection : Snowy Desserts Holiday Collection 2015. I was invited to grace the event and out of all the stuff I received in their goodie bag, I was particularly drawn to their delectable pudding tint range.

They each come in a packaging that resemble pudding desserts. My hubby was telling me, please do not put it in the fridge, someone may jolly-well mistaken it as a dessert and eat it!! :)

Pudding Tints range comes in 5 shades, named after fruits: Strawberry, Apple, Grapefruit, Apricot and Lychee.

MY THOUGHTS ON THE PRODUCT:

It's a clear heart-winning move for Etude House to package the lip tints into such cutesy, delightful-looking packaging. Every ounce of the pudding tint shouts out CUTE! I was in a foul mood that day, but when I got home to opening up these lip tints, they instantly cheered me up and I found myself smiling and started playing with them!

I have used all of them, and I would say they are really the pretty, bright kind of Korean lip colours - the usual Etude House's style. Even the most unsuspecting Lychee which looks like a clear gloss in the pan turns out on the lips with a subtle translucent bright pink. Colours-wise, I personally love Apple and Strawberry the most. But I find the Grapefruit's peachy-pink & pastel green packing most attractive to me!

PROS:
  1. Adorable packaging - brings instant cheer to you & the person you gift this to. Ideal for Christmas gifts to your female colleagues/friends/family.
  2. Stunning Korean style lippie colours - brightens your complexion
  3. Gelatinous texture like pudding - spreads easily on the lips. Comes with a spoon-like applicator for easy application. This texture is perfect for doing gradation!
  4. Affordably priced at SGD13.90.
CONS:
  1. Drying to the lips. Please moisturise lips well before application.
  2. Stains lips, fingers AND fingernails for a LONG LONG time! Do not dip your fingers into the pot!
  3. Artificial fruit smell which I personally didn't quite like, but this is more of an individual preference.
  4. Shades are the usual bright cheery colours that Etude House has previously been launching - was hoping for something more special.
