Review of Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lash (in Vivid Royal Blue)

In the July Beauty Box that BNT News sent to us BNT girls, I was thrilled when I saw the latest mascara from the Korean brand, Too Cool For School.

 Too Cool For School recommended these products as 'Vacation Pouch Must Haves' in an online article. This series of makeup look really cool... probably yes, too cool for school, literally. Haha! I am proud to own something as cool as the blue mascara. And in this blog post, I am gonna share my thoughts & swatches on it.

Equipped with hair bristles, the shape & size of the brush is perfect to distribute an even amount on the lashes without clumping.

The colour is a pretty yet subtle dark blue. Photo & package exhibits an electric blue shade, but in reality, the colour is darker and not outlandish or anything. Will demo on my lashes later.

My Thoughts 

The 6g mascara is like a miniature size, so it's pocket-friendly and fits cozily into your makeup pouch.  I personally love checkers and blue colour, so the simple and Scottish style packaging appeals to me. Besides, tiny things spells C-U-T-E... can anyone resist? :)

Apart from its exterior, this mascara is a good performer in terms of quality and ease of application. The colour is not as outstanding as I thought it would be. It may look like a dupe of BENEFIT They're Real mascara in Blue, only more muted and therefore can be a good alternative to black, in the event black mascara bores you already.

The brush applicator is a full-sized one that covers the entire lash line, despite the mascara tube's miniature size. Application is a breeze and it goes on without clumps or messiness, even when I applied the third coat as touch-up. Lasting powder was not bad as well - at the end of the day, I did not look like a panda with blue undereye circles. I'd like to think I still look hot, just as its name suggests - Hot Girl.

Unfortunately, Singapore does not have Too Cool For School retail stores anymore. Hot Girl Lash mascara may be purchased on Lazada.SG or Qoo10, through shipping from Korea sellers.
