My hair journey these recent years has been somewhat a crazy one - from browns to ash shades, vibrant colours such as pink & purple, and the daily flat iron and hot-curling, I am pretty lucky that I even have a full head of tresses right now!
Constantly on the lookout of a good homecare hair masque, the first time I spotted COCO & EVE was on Instagram. I was immediately drawn to the colours & design of the packaging! It was only a couple of weeks ago that I finally had the opportunity to test out the product on myself, and boy, I quickly grabbed it!

HOW I USE THE HAIR MASQUE
- After shampooing my hair, I divided my hair in two sections.
- I took about 2 tablespoons of the masque and applied on each section of my hair,
- Using the detangling brush that comes with the package, I brush through my hair to detangle it so absorption can be better.
- I left it for about 5 - 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly, depending on my hair condition of the day. You may wear a shower cap to allow for deeper product penetration.
- Skip hair conditioner!
MY THOUGHTS ON THE PRODUCT
The most distinctive trait of this hair masque, apart from its cute packaging, has got to be its strong coconut scent. It's a hit-or-miss for different individuals, but for me - it's definitely something I adore as I am really coconuts about coconuts! Just check me out on my IG Stories and you will know I happily ingest coconut oil every day!
The texture is pretty thick and feels luxuriously rich and pampering. On the hands, product may feel a little on the greasy side but once it reaches to the dry ends of my hair, I can feel my hair soaking up the moisture and goodness of the masque. That explains why I am able to rinse off even before the recommended leave on duration of 10 minutes.
Most hair masques works by coating your hair with silicone or oil so it will appear to be tame. Usually, after another day's wash, hair condition is back to usual condition. NOT COCO & EVE. My hair really looks like it's strengthened and repaired from within; no greasiness and amazingly with more body which my hair normally lacks. Best of all, the effects are long-lasting. Day after day, my hair looks less frizzy and is less prone to breakage.
I finally understood the hype of this product and would highly recommend the splurge!
