I had the honour to be invited to the opening of Scinn Medical and personally met Ms Mary Chia and her daughter Ms Wendy Ho, who is the current CEO of Mary Chia Holdings. Ms Mary Chia, at her age, looks super amazing and her skin is so youthful & practically glowing from inside. This beauty guru indeed walks the talk. I remembered reading on Her World magazine , the advice that she gave her daughter : 
 
“There are no ugly women in this world, only women who don’t pay enough attention to themselves. I learnt that a woman must set aside time to love herself.” 

I totally concur with that line and had lived by that motto for 33 years!

My First Impressions
I simply love the yellow undertones and finish of the BB cream – makes my skin looks dewy and healthy sans the greasiness! It has one of the best coverage amongst BB creams unparalleled in the market. As for the loose mineral powder, it has slightly more sheen than the PurePressed base powder but both produce an excellent “my skin but better” natural satin finish on the face. 

The downside of this amazing line of foundies is that they caused some tiny bumps on my sensitive skin after prolonged wear. My skin often reacts to mineral makeup anyway. I believe for those of you who have no problems with mineral makeup, this is da bomb for you!

Etude House Pudding Tints Review

Recently, Etude House held a girly Christmas party to celebrate the launch of their new holiday collection : Snowy Desserts Holiday Collection 2015. I was invited to grace the event and out of all the stuff I received in their goodie bag, I was particularly drawn to their delectable pudding tint range.

They each come in a packaging that resemble pudding desserts. My hubby was telling me, please do not put it in the fridge, someone may jolly-well mistaken it as a dessert and eat it!! :)

Pudding Tints range comes in 5 shades, named after fruits: Strawberry, Apple, Grapefruit, Apricot and Lychee.

Review of Swisse Hair Skin Nails and Swisse Argan Face Oil

 

"Beauty comes from within." Cliche as it sounds, it's true.

Hang on a sec, I am not advocating the importance of inner beauty; of course that's important but we shall leave that for another day.

I do believe that if a person really wants to look good, besides the products he/she slaps on the skin, it is pertinent that he/she reviews the stuff he/she puts into his/her mouth. "Garbage in, garbage out" couldn't be more apt here.

When we are in our early twenties, we probably don't give too much thought about what goes into our body, much less to say faithfully ingest a good health/beauty supplement. Now that I have hit my big 3, I am more receptive when people recommend me good health supplements.

My hubby is an avid traveller due to his work nature, and he has a special interest in health products. When he first bought me this Swisse Hair Skin Nails+ from Australia about 5 months ago, I was still quite skeptical if it suits me. After reading the ingredients list, I find that it seems no harm giving it a try.
