Review of Stylenanda 3CE Matte Lip Color

Editorial

Happy new year, lovelies! Thank you all so much for the past year's support! This year, FVT aims to do better, so please continue your kind support ok? :)

How is your first month of the year? My January kick-started with an awesome trip to the United Kingdom! Will share more about that later. This post, I want to share about another form of happiness that came in a beauty box!

BNT Beauty Box January 2016 was an exciting one for me. It consists of two big, popular cult brands which I happen to personally LOVE!

To start off, I am going to review Stylenanda 3CE latest lipstick addition

Matte Lip Color in #907 Old Dress (Vintage Mauve Pink).

Review of Stylenanda 3CE Matte Lip Color

My mom & aunt used to be licensed resellers of 3CE makeup in a local retail boutique ever since 3CE shot to fame in Korea, so I personally started using their makeup way before the brand gained huge popularity here in my country, Singapore. My family and I love them to bits and we swear by their lip products (and foundations), even long after our shop had been closed down.

This new formula  Matte Lip Color is currently not available in Singapore yet as it is relatively a new launch in Korea itself. However, you can make your online purchases at Style Nanda official website.

Review of ISILOE Premium Whitening Kit

Editorial

Last and the most stunning & huge product from BNT Beauty Box is....

ISILOE Premium Whitening Kit

This is a full-sized whitening size kit that consists of Enriched Softener, Enriched Cream and Enriched Concentrate (Apply onto face in that order) and two travel sized softener and cream.

Unboxing this set was great joy because all parts of the packaging oozes class & elegance. Side note: it will make such a fabulous Christmas gift!

Through the press release, I was informed that by using Alpha-Bisabolol , this product’s whitening function was recognized by KFDA (Korean Food & Drug Administration). It sounds cool, and I feel safe using products that are approved by national health authority.

Key Ingredients

Sophora
Mulberry root

Whitening Booster

Its extracts of Sophora and Mulberry Root effectively brighten your skin and prevent dullness.

Moisturizing and Tightening
Its papaya extracts maintain the luminosity of your skin thanks to its mild exfoliating function.
  STEP 1: Enriched Softener
Softener is another word for toner. Apply with cotton pad or just pat some onto face.

Review of THELAVICOS Whitening C Ampoule

Editorial

Next up from the BNT vanity trove is ....

                     THELAVICOS Whitening C Ampoule

THELAVICOS Whitening C Ampoule is a relatively new product launched in November, and you probably have not heard about it before. However the Korean brand is not new, and its market segment reaches as far as Taiwan and China.

The shimmery white packaging spells L.U.X.U.R.I.O.U.S and truly befits this festive season!

Whitening Project For 4 Weeks

THELAVICOS Whitening C Ampoule comes to me in a box of four small bottles as shown in the above pic. Each bottle is sufficient to last a week long of applications.

Upon scrunity, you see orange tiny beads on the top compartment, beneath that is the transparent gel.

Etude House Pudding Tints Review

Singapore Top Beauty Blogger 2015

Recently, Etude House held a girly Christmas party to celebrate the launch of their new holiday collection : Snowy Desserts Holiday Collection 2015. I was invited to grace the event and out of all the stuff I received in their goodie bag, I was particularly drawn to their delectable pudding tint range.

They each come in a packaging that resemble pudding desserts. My hubby was telling me, please do not put it in the fridge, someone may jolly-well mistaken it as a dessert and eat it!! :)

Pudding Tints range comes in 5 shades, named after fruits: Strawberry, Apple, Grapefruit, Apricot and Lychee.

1st Impressions: Etude House Bling Me Prism Collection

I was invited to a bloggers' event at Etude House two months ago. It was really fun and thanks to Etude House Singapore's generosity, I got to play with a lot of their latest products. After using for some weeks, I decided to write about their Bling Me Prism Collection.

This cute limited edition collection is a collaboration between Etude House and Korean accessories brand, High Cheeks. "High Cheeks" suggests the action of smiling, hence you can expect this brand to exude lotsa fun, colour vibes with brightly coloured pop art designs incoporated into their products.

Bling Me Prism Collection reflects such cute, playful & quirky graphics on their packaging. The collection consists of Bling Me Prism Color in Liquid Lips, Bling Me Prism Nails and their new liquid eyeshadow - Bling Me Prism Eyes!

Bling Me Prism Color in Liquid Lips: Thoughts & Swatches

Similiar concept like its predecessor Etude House in Liquid Lips, this range of lippies is also a hybrid of lipstick and lip gloss. The only difference is the texture and the finish. This range has a water-sliding texture that feels lightweight and produces a glowy finish. The best part is the colour doesn't accidentally stick to your front tooth, unlike the previous edition which did so to me. (Horrors!)

Personal thoughts: I really enjoy using these babies. Not just because of the nice texture, but also the vibrant colours simply brighten one's face in a single pop. After a day, colour settles onto the lips with a beautiful, subtle stain that makes your lips look naturally tinted and pouty! Love it!

Bling Me Prism Eyes: Thoughts & Swatches

The Bling me Prism Eyes is a water-based eye colour that is used like an eyeshadow. It has an applicator which makes application easy-peasy, without smudging! The hologram pigment and crystal pearl add a touch of sparkle to the eyes for a bling effect.

Personal thoughts: Product glides on and dries rather quickly, so if you are going to use your fingers to blend it out a little for a softer look, I suggest you do so quickly... OR a better alternative is to utilise a good eyeshadow blending brush. Using fingers can get kinda messy and you may end up having undefined, cloudy eyeshadow on your lids . It takes a bit of practise to get it right, but when you do, the colours are pretty and they really make your eyes stand out.

Review of MAY COOP Cleansing Mousse Review

Editorial

MAY COOP Cleansing Moose Review

This is the 5th & last item that I am reviewing from my July BNT Beauty box - MAY COOP Cleansing Mousse .

Prior to this, I have never heard of the brand nor have I put any maple products on my face before. But I do love maple syrup on my pancakes. LOL.

In any case, I still braved on and tried using this cleansing moose so I can review for you guys and mainly also because I want to fulfil my obligations toward the sender of this product.

So, let's get down to business!

MAY COOP Cleansing Moose Review
Sugar maple (Acer saccharum).  Credit: Albert Herring

According to my research, maple sap is collected from the tree and maple water is apparently good for the body. Not so sure what it does to the skin, but since it contains antioxidants, I am guessing it can protect skin from free radicals?

I am sorry I couldn't find much information on this brand. All I know is, they were once featured on Get It Beauty Self - a popular Korean beauty talk show program. (Whatever products talked about on the show gets sold out fast)

Not sure why my package looks so dirty...please ignore.

Again, as a person who can't read Korean, I can't furnish much information, so I Googled and I found a partial ingredient list on koreadepart.com

Seems like an organic product, although it is not USDA certified or anything like that.

Review of Forencos Lips in Love Lip Tint in 04

Editorial

Forencos Lips in Love Lip Tint in 04 Review

If you haven't heard of this brand, Forencos, let me tell you this has got quite a background. It was the sponsor brand for a portion of the makeup, mainly eye makeup for Jeon Ji Jyun in My Love From Another Star, a highly popular Korean drama series back in 2013.

Review of Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lash (in Vivid Royal Blue)

Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lash in Vivid Royal Blue

In the July Beauty Box that BNT News sent to us BNT girls, I was thrilled when I saw the latest mascara from the Korean brand, Too Cool For School.

Too Cool For School recommended these products as 'Vacation Pouch Must Haves' in an online article. This series of makeup look really cool... probably yes, too cool for school, literally. Haha! I am proud to own something as cool as the blue mascara. And in this blog post, I am gonna share my thoughts & swatches on it.

Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lash in Vivid Royal Blue
Equipped with hair bristles, the shape & size of the brush is perfect to distribute an even amount on the lashes without clumping.

Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lash in Vivid Royal Blue
The colour is a pretty yet subtle dark blue. Photo & package exhibits an electric blue shade, but in reality, the colour is darker and not outlandish or anything. Will demo on my lashes later.

Review Amaranth Messaline Ultra Hydrating Cream

Editorial

Earlier this month, I was sent a beauty box from Korea by BNT News International.

BNT Girls
Basically it is similar to our BlackBox or StylexStyle beauty box. The only difference is this box is sent to bloggers for editorial reviews; and it is a box of Korean beauty goodies that you mostly can't find in Singapore (but you will be able to locate online.)

Here is glimpse of what's inside the black box.
BNT Beauty Bloggers

With gratitude to BNT News, I have received FIVE items! I will be reviewing these babies ONE by ONE, so stay tuned for my reviews! ( Since I am given a non-negotiable deadline to finish all FIVE reviews in a month, be sure I will do so by end of July. Pinky promise. Haha!)

For starters, I picked out my most favourite product to share my thoughts:
